Delicious bagels! Good service!

Bagel Fragel is one of my life long favorites. One of my favorite things to do as a child was to stop in for a Fragel and papaya juice. The Fragels are just as amazing as they were almost 40 years ago. Try to get over while they are hot, one of the world's most perfect foods. The staff is always very pleasant. The last time I was there, the gentleman at the counter exhibited some excellent moonwalking skills, which I appreciated in my precaffinated state.

The staff member who served me on Tuesday 9/26 around 10:45am was amazing! His customer service was spot on. The nicest, most genuine guy I have ever encountered. Give this man a raise! Also, the double garlic bagel was delicious.

Had my first fragel about 30 years ago, and still love this place!

If you want really fresh bagels this should be your stop. They are wonderful... Puts Panera to shame!! And it's right across the street. $13.00 for a dozen bagels with cream cheese!

Was not able to try a fragels, so the two stars is for the experience, not the food.Their hours list 3:00 p m. as the close of business, however they do not apparently take orders for the last hour. I get that the process is may be time consuming, but please don't list hours for when you aren't taking orders, it is misleading. Drove a bit over an hour only to be told I could order bagels/fragels for the following morning. Quite disappointing. This may be explained somewhere, but for someone just looking up the shop by name and rushing to beat the posted close of business, it would help if the hours indicated a close at 2:00 p.m. instead.

Twice now, and tried to call w/no answer, travels were raw. I quit.

Our whole family loves both the bagels and the fragels! They have a wide variety of bagels and we love all of the options for cream cheese. Love Bagel Fragel!

I've been coming to Bagel Fragel for years. I didn't even think I liked bagels that much until coming here, now I always find myself craving one of their bagels and will drive all the way across town to get them. Seriously no other bagel compares!!! Staff is always really nice and the food always tastes amazing.

The fragels are amazing. It's a shame the landlord is giving them the boot. Get your travel soon!!!!

Wonderful bagels! Open very early to help with picking up before work. Such wonderful owners who are almost always there behind the counter to serve you. I've been going here for over a decade. Wonderful place!

So many bagels and they can make delicious sandwiches with them! Plus the fragel is amazing! I'm so happy they are open!

Love this place!! The food is delicious!! The service was great, fast, friendly and efficient. They have a wide variety of bagels and cream cheese spreads, and make several different sandwiches. We ordered sandwiches to eat there and bought a dozen bagels and some cream cheese for home.I recommend this" hidden gem" highly.

I was back in Ann Arbor for a visit and hadn't had a Fragel since I was a kid. So good! My only critique is that the sugar coating needs more cinnamon. Otherwise just like I remember!

They have really good bagels and breakfast sandwiches. They microwave the egg with the meat, but it doesn't taste microwave, the egg is usually quite good and not overdone. The ownership is very kind and friendly as well.

Love bagel fragel they have a great selection of bagels and cream cheese, Their smoothies are delicious I recommend the strawberry one sad to see this place close but hope it re-opens soon.

I’ve loved this place ever since I moved to Ann Arbor from the east coast, where there are famously fabulous bagels. LOVE the bagels, LOVE the cream cheese (my favorite combo is vanilla cinnamon chip cream cheese with the vanilla cinnamon bagel 🤤), and the idea of a fragel is just genius. The day they deep fry one of the vanilla cinnamon bagels I will die because I will eat 50 of them and explode. Also the staff is beyond friendly. We went there today and there was this little family of baby ducks 🦆 and it was so cute how worried the staff was about them being around cars. Anyone who feeds me and is nice to animals is an A + person in my book.

Bagel Fragel is a beloved institution here. But their rent has been arbitrarily raised and they are searching for a new location. I really love Bagel Fragel and I hope they relocate to be very close to my home so I can go there frequently.

If you have never eaten a fragel then you aren't a true local. A treat that no one outside of Michigan has ever heard of, and a great treat. It is a raisin bagel fried and coated in cinnamon sugar. Very messy. I have been known to drive 20 plus minutes just to get a couple. The bagels are good too, and they have many cream cheese and bagel sandwich options. It is hard for a bagel only store to stay open, and it is a testament to the staff that it has been open so long up against major chains.

Open and being safe/smart during the pandemic. Recommend calling in an order so it will be ready for pick-up!

Great place to grab breakfast/brunch. Very friendly service. Went for the famous fragels(fried bagel dough with raisins, rolled in cinnamon sugar). They aren't fried ahead of time which is great. For a cold cloudy day, they serve as a great pick me up. Veggie bagel was also made on the spot and served piping hot, except it could do with some s&p!!So overall 3 stars because I wasn't blown away.

This is hands down the best bagel place in town.

For two weekends in a row, I’ve come here during hours that they claim to be open. Both times they were closed with no explanation in the door. Is this place even in business? I’m done. They obviously don’t need my business. Never going back. Complete waste of my time.

A Univeristy of Michigan/North Ann Arbor staple. I finally had a "fragel" and it was amazing. Warm, sweet awesomeness and I would definitely recommend everyone try at least one. The other bagels were great and I have heard positive things about their sandwiches. This place needs some social media accounts!!

I love this bagel store, great bagels, great cream cheese. If the ambiance and drinks were better it would be the perfect breakfast place.

The originator of fragels, which are fried cinnamon bagels and very delicious when hot. As of December 2018, their lease in this location is set to expire at the end of the month and their business plans are unclear thereafter.

Very nice bagel shop! I read about them in a local newspaper and decided to stop. The bagels were excellent! I also purchased a Fragel and thought it was good also. They will be moving by the end of December. So please go.

Absolutely delicious! The cream cheese is great and you just can't beat a warm fragel. Customer service is amazing as well, super kind and felt really welcome. Fantastic experience, I will definitely be back.

Great food! Have to try the Fragels. Staff is very friendly. Get there early because they close early afternoon especially Monday.

I generally prefer a more dense bagel than what is on offer here. Still, they have a wonderful array of flavors (only wish more whole grain/whole wheat options). I also really like the flavored cream cheeses. Their bagel pack (13 bagels + 2 tubs of cream cheese) are a great option for sharing with your work. Do call ahead if you want to count on this: sometimes people come and clear them out, especially on Fridays!Their sandwiches are also quite tasty.

Excellent service, friendly staff, And amazing garlic bagels (hands down my favorite salty bagel). The fragels (fried raisin bagels coated in cinnamon sugar) are something straight out of a fat kid's best dream. Would recommend to anyone looking for Ann Arbor delicacies.
